There is no need to compromise when selecting your seal profile. V.A.V. Group designs the form, colour, hardness, and material of the profile to match the specified use and conditions, including weather and other external requirements.
V.A.V. Group has manufactured over a thousand different extrusion dies for different profile shapes. Our manufacturing process allows us to supply almost any shape, based on a blueprint or sample provided.
Sustainability and a long product service life are key requirements for environmentally friendly manufacturing. Silicone is the second most common element in the world, its manufacturing requires significantly fewer fossil materials than plastic and rubber components and can be disposed of along with other mixed waste. According to industry standards, silicone profiles also have a long lifetime, which makes them an even more ecological seal option.

Non-stretch profiles
Silicone and TPE profiles can also be made inelastic. Non-stretch seals are a product developed by V.A.V. Group that facilitates and accelerates both manual and automatic seal installation significantly. Both TPE and silicone profiles can be made inelastic. They function in all applications and the installation cord has no impact on the properties of the profile itself.
Non-stretch seals can withstand tensile forces up to 100 N. A cord is added to the profile during manufacturing, preventing stretching during installation. These inelastic seals have gained an especially strong foothold in the window and door industries where their use has improved productivity and quality of the finished product. Non-stretch seals are an ideal solution for automatic seal installation jobs.
Self-adhesive profiles
Self-adhesive seals can be mounted either permanently or temporarily to facilitate installation. Self-adhesive seals make installation easier on straight and flat surfaces of almost any material. Self-adhesive seals can be made of silicone rubber and TPE/TPV, and with a stretch prevention cord if needed.
Co-Extruded profiles and other properties
V.A.V. Group also makes co-extruded silicone and TPE/TPV profiles with two different hardnesses or colours. Several materials can also be combined.
Silicone andf TPE/TPV profiles are coloured according to the client’s needs in any basic colour and any RAL, as well as in metallic colours.
